Ecology
The alder is a native of the continent of Europe and the British islands. The alder growth area is usually found in high water areas, such as rivers and shores, as well as the margin of forests, and rarely grows within the forest. These trees are available on all planets and their range extends from Japan to the East and North of the Himalayas and then to Europe and North Africa. In the Americas, from the north of the continent and the eastern part of Canada, it is dispersed in Ontario to the west, then south and west of South America, the Andes and also in Chile.

This species exists only in the Northern part of Iran, and grows in the forests of Mazandaran, Gorgan and Gilan, the Taleghan, Lahijan, Astara and Talesh forests, all of which have wet soils.

Application
